I highly recommend receiving physical therapy at DPT Novi. Dr. Burns, Dr. Sinna, Nyisha and Nora were all involved in providing excellent care, support and encouragement prior to my acl surgery and afterwards. Dr. Burns assured me that I could reduce my right knee swelling and stiffness while strengthening it prior to surgery. His assessment and evaluation of my right knee was thorough. He explained my three week action plan (prior to surgery) and always answered all questions that I had regarding the purpose of each exercised performed. Nyisha (PTA) always made sure that I had proper form in each exercise, cautioned against over exerting myself during each movement, and assessed my pain level throughout. Nora (Patient Cate Coordinator) provided continuous encouragement throughout my progress and guidance on executing each movement with proper form and safely.

I worked with Dr. Sinna post-surgery and have progressed well throughout my recovery. He took the time to explain what to expect at each milestone during my recovery. He educated me on the anatomy of the knee, the purpose behind strengthening the supporting muscles that surround it, and the reasoning behind how my injury occured. He always assessed my pain level and adjusted my exercises as needed to reduce the swelling. I often become frustrated at adjusting and having to relearn how to maneuver my knee. He understood my frustrations but always reminded me of my progress.

I was an avid volleyball player prior to injury. I’m 42yo and played recreationally on 4 teams three days per week. I’ve been advised to return in a year. This reality has been difficult to embrace because I spent 10 months each year (for the past 9 years) playing volleyball. Dr. Burns shared with me that everyday after surgery gets better, and it did. He encouraged me to focus on my daily progress.

What I love most about going to DPT is the culture. The staff takes the time to get to know you- likes, dislikes, hobbies and family. Everyone cares about your progress. They listen attentively, provide encouragement and show empathy. They communicate well amongst each other. They strive to meet each patient’s needs while helping them return to their baseline level of functioning. They always interacted with my 6yo daughter and made her feel welcomed. I’ve had other volleyball related injuries and visited with other physical therapists’ offices, but never felt so connected with the staff at DPT NOVI. My surgeon (Dr. Frush from Motor City Orthopedics) was impressed with my progress (improved range of motion, decreased swelling, and strength).

Dr. Burns has put together a wonderful, compassionate, respectful and skilled team that has become family. My time there has been life changing. They have helped me restore confidence to play again next year. Thanks to then, I’m getting stronger mentally and physically to return to the sport that I love.

The above words are really true. I was suffering with Knee Fat pad impingement and Patella tendonitis from 2 years I tried multiple physiotherapies and other treatments nothing helped. Finally I came to know about Novi DPT and Dr Burn, He is incredible and dedicated. I’m going here since last 3 months I’m almost recovered. Will definitely share my experience once I completely recover. So far it is best facility.

My experience was great, the doctor was on time, was engaged in how I was doing and seems concerned about my wellness.

The place is nice therapists are very professional, encouraging. They listened to my concerns and questions thoughtfully and work with my trying to help reduce the pain of my neck and almost every day my migraine. If you need PT definitely check out the Novi DPT.

Dr. Burns has helped me on and off with a recurring issue for years. He has always been kind and professional, and every time I go into his office I know that I’m going to get great treatment with effective solutions to help with my pain. I’ve been to other offices when I lived in other cities, and I have not found a place that matches this office. I would always recommend Novi DPT to anyone that needed physical therapy.

Dr. Robert Burns was very efficient. He literally found a solution to my wrist issue in a matter of minutes! The staff was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. It’s a great place to do physical therapy. I highly recommend them for PT. They have several locations too!!

They are very friendly and make you feel at home. Dr. Mike Z is great. If something is not working he will change things up until it does.

Words are not enough for the service and care you get from NOVI DPT (Doctors of Physical Therapy). They provide enough time and attention in healing the problem from the root. They take enough time to explain how the muscles work, what is happening and what needs to be done to heal the problem area. Healing Patient’s condition is their top most priority than collecting money. The emphasis is on continuous improvement for that they take time to re-evaluate the therapy progress from time to time.

Dr.Burns & Dr.Sina always keep upto date on the latest techniques & equipment that helps the patient and educate the patient in an effort to heal the problem the earliest possible. The staff is cheerful and very helpful. I tried before “Northville Physical Therapy” and “Henry Ford PT” on 8 mile road and the services I received at “Novi DPT” are the best. They also guide you thru the medical insurance process. I would highly recommend them based on mine and my friends experience.

These guys are awesome! Dr Z makes physical therapy enjoyable. He also educates his clients on their injuries and the path to getting back to normal.

I’m so happy that I chose Novi DPT to be my physical therapist following knee surgery. There are many choices and I feel fortunate to have selected them. Dr. Sina is extremely knowledgeable, attentive and personable. More importantly he’s dedicated to his specialty and his patients. Of course he doesn’t do this alone. His staff is incredible as well, notably his resident Carter and office manager Nora. I have neck c4-c6 nerve pinches and went through 3 PT offices in last 12 years. This time the symptom come back again and my neurologist referred me to a PT clinic near 11 mile and Meadowbrook. After a week I decided to switch for a new PT, Novi DPT and Dr. Sina works with me. After few weeks I feel I did the right thing to switch to this clinic. I can feel that he is a very professionally trained PT doctor, knows where and how to improve my muscle tightness personalized for my problems. Not like other clinics where PT asked me go through each of their machines on the floor and checked the checklist boxes, then a short manual massage with no targeted treatment, and their manual massages were not a real deep massage at all for me. I really enjoy Dr. Sina’s deep shoulder/neck/back massages which helped me to relive the neck/arm numbness and pain. BTW, the front desk staff are also very friendly

My treatment by Dr Sina at NoviDPT has been so good it’s made me realize how poor the 3 previous physical therapy practices actually were.

Other Physical Therapists around Novi would pawn me off on their technicians to do the same routine every appointment, regardless of any negative results of the routine. At NoviDPT the therapist maintains constant oversight to ensure your needs are met and that progress will be seen.

Thanks to Dr Sina I have some hope for the future again. I’ve seen significant reduction in pain and improved mobility.
