Privately, he is the father of two boys, Robert Burns II, and Cade, and is married to Dr. Jade Burns, a professor at the University of Michigan. When he’s not watching Robert II play little league baseball, or on the sidelines under the Friday Night Lights or Roller Derby, Burns enjoys golf, billiards, and travel.
